Forum Registration Help
I get a lot of of e-mails from very disgruntled fans who have been mistaken for spam-bots by the forums. About 10% of all people who attempt to register are misidentified as spam-bots by a forum script that prevents about 500 spam-bots per day from registering (huzzah for forum statistics!) That being said, I realize that people get rather frustrated when being prevented from registering by a script that seems to have issues, so I've written up this guide for those of you who are dealing with this particular issue:
First, be sure that you've entered all of your registration information correctly. This includes inputting the correct image vertification text when prompted. If this still doesn't work, here is what you must do next:
E-mail Elly: elly@reisei-sa.net with the following information:
your desired username:
your desired password:
e-mail address associated with your forum account:
And ask to have your account registered for you. After Elly processes your request (1-2 days typically) you will receive an activation e-mail at the address you provided. Once you've activated your account, it is ready for you to use!
As with anything else, it is always a good idea to be polite when writing e-mails. It is also good to keep in mind that Elly is a pretty busy person (college, job, mother, wife, etc.) and will not always be available to respond to forum registration requests within a 1-2 time period. The current "turn-around" status will be reflected on this page so that waiting parties will have an estimate of how long they can expect to wait for their request to be processed. Any absense of the above requested information will result in a delay in your registration.
